PSC79 Spring + Thank You

This week I am sharing a card I love from a past post..

I can't wait to show you my card this week. Thanks to my good friend Susan
I tried a new stamping technique and it turned out awesome....
Check it out !!
She showed me how to use three different ink colors on a stamp and
this awesome stamp comes to life. I started by choosing the colors of ink
I wanted to use. Start with the darker colors and then your
inks won't bleed. Move your stamp around coloring
each part with a different color. Then you lightly mist the stamp with ink
and stamp. The color will blend but not bleed.
Now this wasn't my first attempt it takes some practice to get the look you want.
The stamp I used was a Tim Holz and it was just one flower I just stamp my
card multiple times.
Then I blended some ink around the edges to give that cloudy effect.
Popped a sentiment and POW !!
Love it !!

What's up Wednesday

Well, last week I shared with you my desk at work.
It was a HOT mess.
Today I usually show what project I have been working on
Well, I am still knee deep in work so I have nothing on my craft table.
But, the last project I completed was a small mini album
for my nephew who was getting married.

This is how my desk has looked since !!
I took this picture Sunday.

Yay !! I couldn't create in this space if I wanted to.

So, last night I came home from work... late as usual.
But, since I had a little time I cleaned that table up.
Now, this is how I like it !!

I also took pictures of the rest of the room and it is too embarrassing to show you now.
After I get it all cleaned up I will show you the before and after !!
Ta Ta for now !1

Make Something Monday # 14

Hi Everyone and welcome to Monday again.
Last week over at Where Life Meets Art we asked you to
Show us your sparkle.
Well, eleven great entries were posted but we had to choose just one
to showcase this week.
After looking at each one we decided on.

Lorraine

Lorraine used a stamp she had in her stash and added glitter, embossing powder
and stickles !!
Great job, thanks for sharing with us Lorraine !!

Now for this week.
We want you to show us your

SHINE !!!

That means you can use brads, enamel dots, glossy accents or anything that shines.
For my project I used enamel dots (which are my favorite) and
shiny twine.

The stars I just found in my stash and rick-rack well don't everybody have that stuff.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to get crafty this week and join
our challenge over at

Where Life Meets Art.

Flashback Friday!

Just a quick flashback photo of Sam!

Can you guess which one is Sam? This is at Sam's older sister's wedding at Bellingrath Gardens in 1978. I didn't guess correctly when I first saw the photo! Two of the girls are sisters. One is a friend.

Do you know who is who? Sam is on the far right, her sister is on the left, and their friend Beth is in the middle. Did you guess correctly?

Don't forget to enter your sparkle embellished projects into this week's Make Something Monday Challenge! If you haven't gotten your glitter out yet, there's still time to make something and link up by Sunday night!
