PSC38- Here comes the Sun !!!

Hi everybody,
Since I live in the south I know all about the "Sun" so this week at The Perfect Sentiment we are going to give you a challenge to make you think of the summer fun....

Challenge: Create a card with a sunny sentiment like...you are my sunshine, wishing you sunny days or maybe You shine.
The Twist: Put an image of the sun somewhere on your card.

Don't forget that we want you to put the sentiment on the front of the card.

This week our sponsor is: Pattie's Creations

Prize: 1 free digi

So for my card I decided to use a lot of scrap paper that I have starting to stack up. If your like me I try and save every little scrap thinking that I could us it on the next card. The flowers where cut from a small piece of Donna Salazar paper. Yep I know I would need that piece some day. Cricut cartridge Walk in my Garden is where this die cut came from. The sun stamp and the sentiment I picked up at Michael's in the dollar bin.... another thing I knew I would need some day.

Turned out really cute. I hope you get some inspiration so you can join in our challenge this week. Don't forget to check out all the other DT members. you will find their blogs on my side bar.

PSC37- For the Graduate

It's Wednesday again and that means that we have another great challenge over at The Perfect Sentiment.
The Challenge: Use a sentiment appropriate for a graduate
Twist: Instead of a basic card. Create a card to hold money or a gift card.

Our sponsor this week is Fred, She Said Designs. The prize will be a $10.00 gift certificate.

I decided to make a gift card card. This was one of those things that came to me while I was day dreaming at work one day. A slit in the middle holds my card. The card measures 4" x 4".
The graduation hat was on the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. Easy Peasy !!!
Here are a few up close pics for you to check out !!

This is the inside of the card !!

I hope my card gives your some inspiration and don't forget to check out my side bar where all the other DT and Guest Designers are listed. Then go over to The Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog and show us what you can make.

This week I got some great paper from my local scrapbook store and I have been using it on everything.
